Wanted Chef woking @P'Nut Bulimba

We at P’Nut Street Noodles are seeking Chef de Partie’s and Sous Chef’s to work in our location in Bulimba. You must have prior wok/ stir fry experience with understanding of Asian food.
The position involves:
- Placing food orders, inventory, cost of goods and labour costs
- Preparing and cooking food including new menu dishes
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages right from preparation to presentation
- Making sauces and setting up complete mis en place and cooking line
- Explaining and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene
- May train and administer orientations of new team members as needed
- Retort or freeze food as required
To be successful in this position you need:
- Previous experience with similar cuisine and fast-paced environment
- The ability to run a smooth, organized service
- Passionate about the end product
- Professional, polished appearance (for our open kitchen)
- Strong reporting skills –written and oral.
- Must have Qualifications or equivalent trade experience
- Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills
