Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

We are seeking experienced and professional Cleaners to join the VDG Family for permanent roles at a prestigious 5-star hotel in Brisbane CBD.

These roles focus on Public Area Cleaning — maintaining immaculate presentation standards across lobbies, foyers, restaurants, bars, event spaces and guest amenities. This is not housekeeping.

These positions suit candidates who take pride in world-class presentation standards and understand the expectations of a luxury hotel environment.

Available Shifts
• Am/pm/overnight shifts available
• Weekend availability required
• Full-time and part-time positions

Key Responsibilities
• Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas including lobby, foyers, corridors, restaurants, bars and event spaces
• Detailed cleaning of guest amenities and public bathrooms
• Polishing, dusting and maintaining high-end finishes and surfaces
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and waste removal across high foot traffic areas
• Operating cleaning equipment including backpack vacuums and auto scrubbers
• Restocking consumables and maintaining presentation standards
• Immediate response to spills or hazards to ensure guest safety
• Safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Completing digital checklists and reporting via smartphone apps

To Be Successful You Will Have
• Minimum 3 years commercial (A-Grade, B-Grade Buildings) or 5 Star Hotel public area cleaning experience (hotel experience highly regarded)
• High level of presentation and grooming standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident using a smartphone for rosters, checklists, and reporting
• Experience and knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals, safe handling, and colour-coding
• Experience operating walk-behind automatic scrubbers and swing-type polishing machines
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and respectful communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining luxury standards
