เมื่อวันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2559 เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการอาเซียนประจำกรุงแคนเบอร์รา พร้อมด้วยเอกอัคราชทูตประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนและผู้แทน ร่วมการประชุมกับคณะกรรมการ Australia-ASEAN Council (AAC) นำโดย Ms. Christine Holgate ประธานคณะกรรมการ AAC ที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ที่ประชุมหารือแนวทางส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่าง ACC และ AAC รวมทั้งความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดกิจกรรมร่วมกันในอนาคต

A Joint Meeting with Members of the Australia-ASEAN Council (AAC) Board
On 30 May 2016, H.E. Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Canberra (ACC), and other ASEAN Heads of Missions attended a Joint Meeting with Members of the Australia-ASEAN Council (AAC) Board, led by Ms Christine Holgate, Chair of the AAC at the Royal Thai Embassy, Canberra. The Meeting discussed ways and means to foster cooperation between the ACC and the AAC and possible joint activities in the future.
