สรุปผลรางวัลออสการ์ ครั้งที่ 86 'Gravity' คว้า 7 รางวัล, '12 Years a Slave' หนังยอดเยี่ยม

ผ่านไปเป็นทีเรียบร้อยสำหรับงานประกาศรางวัลวงการภาพยนตร์ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของโลก อคาเดมีอวอร์ดส ครั้งที่ 86 (86^th Academy Awards) หรือที่เรารู้จักกันในนาม ออสการ์ (Oscar) ประจำปี 2014 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่ Dolby Theatre รัฐลอสแองเจลิส คืนวันที่ 2 มีนาคม ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นหรือช่วงเช้าของวันที่ 3 มีนาคม ตามเวลาของออสเตรเลีย โดยในปีนี้มีภาพยนตร์อยู่สองเรื่องดังที่เข้าชิงมากที่สุด ได้แก่ "Gravity" และ "American Hustle" ซึ่งเข้าชิงกันไปเรื่องละ 10 รางวัล

สำหรับรางวัลที่ถูกจับตามองมากที่สุดในครั้งนี้ก็คงหนีไม่พ้นรางวัลภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยมซึ่งเป็นรางวัลที่ใหญ่สุดของงาน โดยในปีนี้มีผู้เข้าชิงทั้งหมดจาก 9 เรื่อง และเรื่องที่ได้รับรางวัลนี้ไปครองก็คือ "12 Years a Slave" จากผู้กำกับ Steve McQueen และผู้อำนวยการสร้างหลายคนซึ่งหนึ่งในนั้นก็มี Brad Pitt รวมอยู่ด้วย โดยในเรื่อง 12 Years a Slave ยังคว้าไปอีกสองรางวัล ได้แก่รางวัล นักแสดงสมทบหญิงยอดเยี่ยม ซึ่งแสดงโดย Lupita Nyong'o และ บทภาพยนตร์ดัดแปลงยอดเยี่ยม ซึ่งเขียนโดย John Ridley
